An experienced international editor, Louise is passionate about exploring the world around us, getting to the heart of the story, shining the spotlight on women’s topics and sharing voices.
An NCTJ-trained local and national newspaper, journalist, Louise has worked at Condé Nast (Conde Nast Traveller), The Guardian (Art, Review. Travel, Jobs & Money) and internationally as an editor in women's magazines.
Louise’s exclusives include investigative women’s reportage (the rise of UK sex trafficking, date drug rape and forced marriage), news (Britain’s first convicted honour killing - Banaz Mahmod, IVF ruling and UK’s first face transplant. Interviews include Emma Thompson, Richard Branson,andJohn Simpson..
A young panellist on BBC Woman’s Hour (REAL! magazine), she has been invited to Number 10 (women’s magazine editor) and Scotland Yard (press).
In 2011, a cover campaign real life interview revealing underage sunbed misuse as a leading cause of UK U18 skin cancer she wrote was read out in Parliament. The Sunbeds (Regulation) Act 2010 came into force in 2011, preventing U18s using sunbeds in the UK.
Today, Louise is a travel journalist specialising in adventure, ski, heliski, wellness and family travel.
More recently, she has reported on St. Moritz Tobogganing Club allowing women to race the Cresta Run again (from ‘Top’) - after a hiatus of 103-years (BBC Sports), the history of British skiing (The Telegraph) and a ski tour across the Dolomites (Fall-Line).
Louise has won various awards including PTC New Journalist of the Year (Weekly - REAL!) and Travmedia Awards 2025 (The Telegraph).
In 2010, Louise was on of three British women to ski to the North Pole as part of a sponsored recce expedition for (then) Prince Harry HRH’s Walking with the Wounded.
More recent work challenges include a climb-ski of the North Face of Mont Blanc (2018) and learning to race the Cresta with Olympian Chemmy Alcott (2023).
