An experienced international editor, Louise is passionate about exploring the world around us, getting to the heart of the story, shining the spotlight on women’s topics and sharing voices. 

An NCTJ-trained local and national newspaper, journalist, Louise has worked at Condé Nast (Conde Nast Traveller), The Guardian (Art, Review. Travel, Jobs & Money) and internationally as an editor on women's magazines.

Louise’s exclusives include investigative women’s reportage (the rise of UK sex trafficking, date drug rape and forced marriage), news (Britain’s first convicted honour killing - Banaz Mahmod, IVF ruling and UK’s first face transplant). Interviews include Emma Thompson, Richard Branson and John Simpson.

A young panellist on BBC Woman’s Hour (REAL! magazine), she has been invited to Number 10 Downing Street (women’s magazine editor) and Scotland Yard (press).

In 2011, her real life Closer! cover story on underage sunbed misuse (as a leading cause of U18 skin cancer in the UK), was read out in Parliament. The UK Sunbeds (Regulation) Act 2010 came into force in 2011, preventing U18s using sunbeds..

Today, Louise is a travel journalist specialising in action sports, ski/ heliski, family, safari, luxury wellness and adventure travel. 

Louise has won various awards including  PTC New Journalist of the Year (Weekly - REAL!) and Travmedia Awards 2025 (The Telegraph).

In 2010, Louise  was selected for a world first expedition and was one of three British women to successfully ski man-haul to the North Pole (HRH Walking with the Wounded, recce)..

More recent work challenges include a climb-ski of the North Face of Mont Blanc (2018) and learning to race the Cresta with Olympian Chemmy Alcott (2023).
