Background:
My versatile style combines interviews, reportage and immersive travel. I love to travel, immerse in nature, art, architecture, culture, meet local people, discover history, hideaways, eateries, delicacies, potteries, coves, dive spots, be active, explore the wilds, let a place seep under my skin and to share some of those stories with others.

I am eternally grateful that work takes me all over the world. Over the years, I have met (and interviewed) a myriad of writers, playwrights, artists, musicians, free riders, explorers, charity founders, entrepreneurs, politicians, actresses, fashion designers, hoteliers and artisans.  I have trekked, biked, dived, skied (mountaineered, ski-toured, man-hauled and Heli-skied - anything with skis on!), hot-air ballooned and sailed across 50+ countries.

Favourite travel companions are always family, and friends, I also travel solo and on press trips. A creative director and former fashion stylist, well versed to working on magazine shoots and designing covers, my other hat is as a BIID interior designer. Trained under Suzy ("Britain's brightest tastemaker' - Harpers Bazaar) at Studio Suzy Hoodless in London's Notting Hill, I ran studioLH* in Portobello when my son was young, specialising in designing layered family homes, sourcing global design - silk Ikats from Uzbekistan, Beni Ourain rugs from Marrakech, Rajasthani doorways, C20th art and design from New York auctioneers - and commissioning today's leading designers.

Today, I combine the two; my inquisitive mind and creative eye forever roaming ("where the head goes, the body will follow") for that next thing that will make my pulse race that little bit faster, (And yours, I hope, too.) If you have a project to share or discuss, please do get in touch,

Selected for a world first expedition, I ski-trekked (man-haul) to the North Pole with explorers Inge Solheim and Henry Cookson and a brilliant team as part of the recce expedition for 2011 Walking with the Wounded to take polar ice cap depths, raise funds and awareness for climate change.
